It is for this reason that we we want to create durable furnishings, of great aesthetic value but with an uncommon longevity. Products that - thanks to the quality of their materials - are capable of withstanding the pitfalls of time.
A Rosa Splendiani product has always been a guarantee of quality and durability. The choice of orienting our furniture production towards the high end (in terms of quality, before than price) the willing to create a long-lived product, which does not need to be thrown away or replaced after one or two seasons.
Many of us associate environmental sustainability with the "recyclability" of a material. Undoubtedly important, but it represents only one of the aspects to consider when it comes to long-term sustainability. Few people consider the fact that a furniture product with a long life - which does not deteriorate and retains its value (aesthetic, material and immaterial) and its function almost unchanged - should be a pillar of any sustainable business.
We then decided to rediscover the beauty and uniqueness of the materials that nature offers us abundantly and that had been forgotten with the passage of time and the advent of synthetic materials. Rattan, Wicker, Manao and other essences that, (due to their physical and aesthetic characteristics) lend themselves to being shaped and woven manually and responding to the needs of design.
We only use certified teak wood of legal origin, from controlled forests.
We use the best poly rattan fibers (Rehau / Viro) which ensure maximum resistance to atmospheric agents and can also be totally recycled at the end of the cycle. We are committed to limiting the use of plastic in packaging to a minimum, always preferring cardboard packaging or its recycled derivatives. It is therefore the individual daily choices that we make as a company that lead us to define and pursue our objective of productive, environmental and social sustainability.
